Already included the Old Post in your estate plans?

Please let us know so that we can recognize and honor your generous commitment to preserving Graham’s heritage and culture.

Gift Options

There are several legacy gift options you can choose from. As you review the details below, please feel free to email us directly or contact us using the button below for additional information or to make a legacy gift.

Bequests

Our most popular legacy gift is a bequest in your will or trust. Bequests allow you to address current financial obligations while providing critical support to future preservation efforts. Your gift can be a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate. Your future commitment will ensure that the history of Graham, and the programs that support its preservation, will continue for generations.

Stocks or Securities

Gifts of appreciated securities and closely held stock can be highly beneficial—both to you and the Old Post. You may receive an income tax deduction equal to the securities’ fair market value at the time of donation and reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes. You can direct the proceeds from the sale of these assets to any program or project of your choosing.

Beneficiary Designation

You can designate the Old Post as a beneficiary of your retirement, investment, bank account, or life insurance policy. This simple and affordable way to support the Old Post significantly reduces future income and estate tax liability.

Other Planned Gifts

Looking to create a different type of legacy? The Old Post Office Museum & Art Center will gladly work with you, your estate planning professional, or financial planner to create a specific gift plan that works for you.
